I have a storm and am running vista. Desktop manager completely crashes every two weeks or so, and when it does, the only way I can get it to work again is by wiping the blackberry empty and doing a clean resync from scratch.

Use the DM without Roxio. Roxio is the culprit.

First off, recognize that it is probably NOT DM but your computer. There isn't nearly enough info to even begin to address your problem but trust me, it probably is NOT DM. I had all kinds of issues running it on mine but I had XP 64 bit and I knew that was the issue. Now I'm running Windows 7 and everything runs great, including DM 5.
