    which phone? how are you wiping the phone? what OS do you have? and what download are you speaking of???

    Boot can fail if the wipe failed. This will require reloading the OS.

    Now why LINK would fail to download... do you mean download the update to link or download to the device. That depends on how and what you are doing. Does it see your device and start the download or does it not even see the phone.

    More info on what you are doing would help.
