I keep getting a Sync Unsuccessful CPreferencesManager Configuration Value for /preferences /Account #/SyncAccountId_1 not set in TranConfig xml
message when I try to sync my contacts and calendar from outlook using BB Link. I've got the most current version of Link, have installed / uninstalled several times and checked the KB on the BB support site. The best that I've found is to paraphrase "we know it's a problem and we don't know what to do" Only solution is to contact BB, but there's no way to do that as far as I can tell. Any ideas as to when BB might get fix for this? I really need to sync, especially calendar...I've been using BB for quite a while (kind of miss the trackball...) but this might drive me to another platform if BB can't get a fix done.

    Things you haven't said:
    1. Was this working before and then stopped working?
    2. What version of BB10 are you using?
    3. Are you doing this on an PC or a Mac and which OS?
    4. What version of Outlook are you using?

Worked before then stopped after I installed the latest BlackBerry Link. Windows. Outlook 2010. BlackBerry 10.2.1.2156

I'm running Outlook 2010, Win 7, BB Software 10.2.1.2156, and BB Link v1.2.3.48 dated 2014.
Windows is up to date and I just did a Contacts & Calendar sync to be sure all is still ok.
It looks like the latest Link version on BlackBerry's site is 1.2.3.56 from also from 2014 so the only difference between us seems to be the Link version.
I've actually been reluctant to update Link, going with the "if it ain't broke, don't fix it" approach.
I'd try un-installing your current version and re-installing the .48 version if you still have it.

Thanks. I'll have to check my downloads to see if I still have the previous Link version.

Well...I tried installed the previous version I had lying around...it was from April 2015 and still get the same error. There's a listing for this problem on the BB KBB#34453 so it's a known issue. Anybody have other ideas or thoughts as to when BB might fix Link?

Link has been a failure for me, it hasn't consistently imported People, and has left out addresses, notes etc, which leaves me with a lack of information for my job which is on the road. I looked at using Outlook.com but there is way too much inconsistent advice about whether it will work, how it works etc that I've gone with Akrutosnyc after seeing it mentioned on a thread on here. Very early days but once on (quite a few steps to put it on including sideloading Snap) it seems to be working seamlessly.
