    DM 5.0 had a "backup and restore" "Advanced" feature that allowed me to delete single databases on my BB and restore them with other backed up files. I can't find that feature anywhere on 6.0. Ideas?

    backup and restore are under device in upper left, check under device options for advanced functions

    appears advanced features are not available for things like clearing databases

    Well that is silly. Why would an upgraded version provide less functionality?

    There's also no option to sync Outlook personal folders in this version. Nice.

    To delete single databases:
    Connect phone (works with USB or Bluetooth)
    Device -> Delete Data
    choose Selected Data, then check which databases you wish to delete

    To restore:
    Device -> Restore
    choose the backup file you want to use, then choose Select device data and settings
    check which data bases you want to restore

    The issue I have right now with DM 6.0 is how do I reload the service books??? DM 6.0 is very user friendly but has less option than 5.0... Don't get it

    If you have a backup of them made with DM6 then you follow the directions in the post immediately preceding yours.

    I did that but for some reason it only backed up 6 of the service books and can't figure out how to install the rest.

    In spite of DM 6 set to back up once weekly, it backs up after every sync. Is there a fix for this? Thanks
