I recently tried to backup my 8330 using DM 4.6 and it hung up when trying to backup the RMS databases. It said it could not establish a connection with my
Blackberry even though it was clearly connected. I deleted DM 4.6 and installed 5.0, same problem. I went to Backup and Restore, then to Advanced and transferred Calendar, but when I try to transfer RMS databases it hung up again.
I don't know what the RMS databases are. Can I safely clear them without losing vital information?
