I was at my telus store and I looked at the version of DM they use. It's different than mine and looked to have another option mine didn't have. I think it was 5.0.1? Mine only says 5.0.0.11

Is there a newer version out there?

Run your Desktop Manager and click the Check for Upgrades link. It's probably located in the lower right corner of the DM home screen. If there's an upgrade available, that should find it.

Isn't there a leaked beta floating around with a higher build that what is currently offered by BB on their website? I am hoping to find that leak as it has a couple of new features not found on the official version.

Apparently there is a 5.0.1 floating around out there. I'm going to try to snag it. I'll post back if I'm successful!

my DM just popped up with the 5.0.1 update this morning. I guess RIM just started pushing it out.

Version 5.0.1.18 date says August 21, 2009 but last week the version that installed via update was 5.0.1, yesterday 5.0.1.18 showed up. Must be a bug fix with the two weeks in a row updates.

I keep getting a notice that there is an update (5.0.1) available for my DM but everytime I have tried to install it, i get an error message that it could not be installed due to an error. I don't what to do??

I know version 5.0.1.28 is out (and what I have), but I thought 5.0.1.29 was out? I had it before (and there was a new feature allowing you to setup/view your email settings)...I had issues with that version, so I uninstalled it and can't seem to get it anymore...
