I am going to install over the weekend. I've seen in various posts on this forum not to restore the settings to keep the dark theme in the release. Does anyone know what is in this file that I would then need to configure manually after my install is complete.

Every setting that you changed is stored there. For example, the default calendar view is appointment. If you change it to month, that gets saved in the Settings bit of the backup. If you made your screen brightness 30%, that gets saved in the Settings bit of the backup.

And so on. Restoring a backup on a newer leak usually adds settings that are slightly different then what the leak is expecting to find and thus causes bugs. Fresh is usually better in these cases.

Also, your Password Keeper data (if you use it) is stored in the settings. There's no way to back it up otherwise, so you gotta do it the old-fashioned way!

Is the custom dictionary part of the settings file also? If it is then I need to save that info to another source.
