Using windows 7 and desktop manager on a a Mac

Hello all,

I am having and issue with updating my phone using Desktop manager on Windows 7. I running VMWare fusion 3 on my MacBook Pro and everything works fine except when i try to update my 9700 using desktop manager or AppLoader. the process will start off fine however when it reaches the "Connect To Device ROM" everything seems to stop. I then receive a message stating could not connect to your device. Its strange because i've used this exact set up to update my phone before with no issues but this seem to be happening over the past few months. I run the same process on a desktop PC and its works perfectly fine both with leaked and available software. And advice would be appreciated.

Troubleshooting so far:

complete reinstall of windows 7, desktop manager and the Blackberry OS. still no change.
