    I have done daily full back up of my Z10. I did a security wipe with a confidence that I have all my backups.. Now the LINK is not able to restore the back up. Its very urgent i have all my contacts only in this backup..

    ANyone please help. Is there any other way to restore.

    Your contacts are not stored with your email account? Or in an app like ContactsX?

    Lesson learned
    Always backup your contacts with gmail outlook etc just incase one of them goes haywire

    Can you use a slightly older backup than your most recent one, as you stated you do a daily full backup?

    Yup tried.. many files.. the only one which seemed to work are the 7.1 back ups from my 9900

    I'd suggest giving Sachesi a try. It uses the same .bbb file format as Link. It has successfully restored Link backups that Link couldn't.
