    Are you running XP or Vista?

    In Vista, click control panel, change startup programs, then scroll down till you get to DM, click on it, and click the box that says remove. Then you will only run DM if you specifically open it. It will not automatically run when Windows starts.

    You're welcome. I disabled DM from being an automatic startup program on my PC since it made my PC start too slow.
