    Hi, I am trying to restore my backberry, however when i connect it to Desktop manager and select the .IPD file it gives me a error 'The Selected backup file might be corrupted.'. Is there a way i can view my contacts and SMS in the saved .IPD file. I have tried MagicBerry and Blackberry back up extractor but it wont work. I am also not able to move the file to any other folder nor able to attached the file in the email.
    Can someone please suggest how do i access the backup.
    Your help would be greatly appreciated.

    It's odd that these 3rd party applications did not work for you. Blackberry Backup Extractor can sometimes read corrupted Blackberry backups. Did something happen when you created the backup? It would be helpful if you provide more info so readers can get a better picture.
