Hello everyone, I recently purchased a late 2008 Macbook (13inch) Aluminum Unibody. I have had an idea for a summer project. I currently use a BlackBerry Z30 and love the design and power of the device. I also love the way my Macbook works but it could use some modifications.

My plan is to convert the Macbook into a MacBerry Z30. For starters I have purchased a hardshell satin case in black, that allows the apple logo to shine through.



Next, I love the back of my Z30 with is glass weave and carbon fiber look. So I will be purchasing this skin for the inside of the Macbook.



And now for the most important thing! That blasted Apple Logo...currently my plan is to go to SlickWraps (a local skin/vinal producer) and propose a logo sticker that is the same color as the aluminum Unibody, with the BlackBerry logo cut out in the center of it, to let the light shine through nothing but the BlackBerry logo. This will hopefully cover the apple logo along with the hardshell case. However when the Macbook is opened the glorious BlackBerry logo will shine through!

Any thoughts, suggestions or comments are welcome!

I will definitely be posting updates! Case is due in on Tuesday along with some more ram. The carbon fiber skin will be coming next week also! Tomorrow I will go up to SlickWraps

So I went to SlickWraps HQ and they agreed to make a skin for my MacBerry Z30. The plan is black carbon fiber for the top with a BlackBerry logo cut out! Blocking the apple logo! Woo, pictures on Friday

This is the greatest, most Berry nerdy thing I think I've seen anyone do on CrackBerry. This is pure awesome. I don't like Macs but would buy one and do this to it. Well done. Rock that MacBerry proudly.

Someone should sell that back cover sticker. Make it larger so it can fit more laptops and can be trimmed for smaller ones. I bet there would be more people trying this. On the lid at least.

One thing though, is that the biggest the BlackBerry logo can be? Seems small compared to the apple logo.

A slow climb to the top is always more rewarding. Sent using my BlackBerry Z10.
