Perhaps I'm in the wrong forum,

New to BB with my Curve (OK, I'm hooked!) and am running DM ver 4.7 with a corporate PC that's got VISTA. My problem is DM "crashes" after syncing Outlook (2007) Calendar. I get an error message that says "close the program" or "Look for a solution and Close the program".

In the view section, I get the message below.

I've tried deleting the Intellisync Folder per other forums/notes. I've also cleaned up calendar appointments, all to no avail.

    Any other ideas to try?

Thanks for your time and consideration.

Id suggest the same, I use 4.5 no issues at all.

I am using 4.6 and have the same issue. I can't sync my calendar, but it will get the address book. Everything else transfer fine.
I get an error message saying "Function OpenFolder Failed".

I installed 4.5 and same problem.

I gather that RIM will NOT provide technical support for the Desktop Manager unless you pay for it, even though the phone and Install disk are brand new?

Any other thoughts on where I might turn for help?

For what it is worth, I simply went into the settings and tried to sync just the calendar and it worked. I also went to a previous version 4.5.

When the calendar synced, I also went to contacts/tasks and synced those seperately and that worked as well.

I have not tried all together since then.

    Good Luck,

I'm suddenly having this issue. was using 4.6, my device recently updated and yea same problem, been trying everything and doing lots of research and no help. This is ridiculous. Will my computer manufacturer help? I pay for extra assistance. Grrrrrr

    Anyone have any final solutions?

I'll try to reload desktop 4.5 and see if that helps.
