My pearl bit the dust so I got a new tour. I had a backup from old phone so I hooked up new phone and did a restore. Problem is it said address book had 232 contacts but it only loaded through the P's. Is there a way to reload just contacts and maybe I can try an even older backup without restoreing and screwing up all my new apps???
YOu can clear the data bases and try to reload just the address book. Goto DM the restore and back up then advanced and select your buck up file and plug your device in. select the address book follow the steps
UPDATE: So I went back in and cleared all of current address book, unplugged phone and made sure it showed no contacts. I then plugged in and went to restore and picked date of backup, went to advanced and chose address book only which showed 307 entries, hit the arrow to transfer over and same thing only brought over 232 entries. I am not very technical but this seems kind of cut and dry but it just won't work. Thanks for any help.
