I really don't know what else to do. This is my first blackberry so I could be missing something really simple. Please help me.
I am running V4.7.1.57 Computer is windows XP SP2. DM is V 5.0.1
Every time I try to connect I get the error "before you begin verify the current blackberry device is connected to the computer"
I have reinstalled the software, restarted the computer with and without the device connected. Battery pull. checked usb ports all running fine, device is charging when plugged in. Mass media storage is enabled.
