Is it possible to install the usb and modem drivers without installing Desktop Manager?
I found the driver "software" but whenever I try to install the drivers the installation attempts to install DM.

you may be able to find the driver install through download.cnet.com or
BitTorrent
and search for the drivers. i have had bbdm installed before and had to reinstall the drivers and was able to from a google search.

The USB support software that Windows uses is part of the Desktop Manager Package. It will install the drivers with the Desktop Manager.
If you do not need Desktop Manager, remove it with the Windows Control Panel. The USB drivers will remain installed.
