At some point in time my Z10 started numbering my pictures over again, which is now making my new picture filenames match a lot of my old picture filenames on my desktop. I'm not sure if this was happening before in BB Link, but now I noticed that BB Link 1.2.0.28 for Windows makes the assumption that a picture's filename is enough to validate that the picture had already been previously synced before. That is bad, because it then tells you that all new pictures have been synced which is not necessarily true. Instead it should validate the file date, size or a checksum hash of the files before making that assumption, and warn or copy/rename with an altered filename, because some people may silently be losing pictures. I think my only recourse now is to move all my old photos on my desktop elsewhere and then resync.

Yep, bug found. My work around didn't work either. The software somehow tracks directory name changes. Dev needs a face punch.
