Curve 8900 worked fine and sync'ed with PC for months but... Since auto update to 5.01 arrived in Dec - desktop manager doesn't work, can't sync or bring up Blackberry home page. Assistance from Orange just made matters much worse...e.g. turning off/changing com port etc.. Tried un-installing, & loading fresh update and re-installing several times - but instalshield wizard statement: "interupted - before software could be installed" comes up every time. Device Manager has not worked since...
    PC is XP Sp3
    Suggestions appreciated!
