Well, there are DEFINITELY changes.

I was never able to get contacts to sync at all. I kept getting "Could not sync contacts, please try again". Now, it is in the process of syncing contacts! I never got this far.

So, does it work? I haven't a clue. Will it work? Heck, I am crossing my fingers. Just in case it doesn't work, I have a good single malt scotch in my other hand.

Looking good.

It would be nice to just have it work. I like Google Sync very much, but it doesn't sync categories, and my PIM (Pocket Informant) can color code my contacts by category - an invaluable tool with over 1500 contacts.

Why do you even bother using Tetherberry? Tethering to a Mac is pretty simple.

Donnation -- agree.

BB DM supports tethering -- it adds a profile to use and has worked fine with me on both Leopard and Snow Leopard.

How do you sync without Tetherberry? This was the only free option I have run across.

Someone asked how you update your version of DM for Mac. I just opened the program and it automatically downloaded the update and then gave me a dialog box asking if I wanted to quit and install. I clicked yes and it closed DM and opened the installer. Very quick.

To get the update (if you're not prompted automatically), open DM for Mac, go to Check for Updates, and you'll be set.

I'm still getting that stupid error code message... I was hoping this would fix the problem.. I'm getting kind of tired of carrying around 2 different machines.. And using the PC exclusively for syncing my blackberry... still to loyal to go the iphone route though.. Any suggestions ? Please let me know: twitter: @jeremeabernathy

Do tell. Everytime I've tethered I get taken to the Verizon site for billing information. If you've got a method for doing it for free, I'd love to hear it.

SUCCESS!! I had a few problems before with iCal syn freezing and just hanging. This has been fixed and works fine. I sync'd everything (not music yet) and seemed to work. Strange thing is my contacts that I have that used to have PIN listed under their information is now gone. I can still bbm my contacts but there is no PIN listed under the profile for each in contacts. Anyone else have this problem now and/or before?

Both the previous version and the latest version of DM for Mac hang on trying to close the program (rainbow beach ball). This happens even when I don't plug in my Tour. Running Snow Leopard on my unibody MBP. Any ideas?
