I just created a CD of iTunes music and tried copying it to my 1GB media card. I had about 20 songs, and enabled mass storage on my card when I plugged my Pearl into the Mac. The copy started, but then crashed after a few minutes. I now get a read error on the card and can't access any of the photos I had stored on it. Did I do something wrong, or is it just a random error? Any idea how to fix the card?
Some data on the card probably became corrupt when it crashed. I think the only way you will be able to recover from this is to format the card again with your BB.
