When I synced my music for the first time it took about 45 minutes or so, which is acceptable for 1300 songs, however, every time I plug in my phone to load a couple of new songs, it must sync all 1300 songs. Is it normal for media sync to re-sync all of the songs in order to update the media player with few new songs? Is there anyway to get around this?

On my Mac, a BlackBerry drive icon shows up when I plug my Tour in. I can look through the music, picture, etc. folders and drag songs and pictures in if I don't feel like using PocketMac.

When I plug my phone in I don't see a drive like this? Any ideas why? For both PocketMac and MediaSync, the programs didn't seem to recognize anything was plugged in. I would really like to back my phone up soon, any ideas?

The app doesn't recognize my device half the time as well.

Also my computer hangs during logging off after I use the media sync app.

I have to reboot my Imac which is a drag.

Hopefully the new desktop manager for the mac works better.

Do you guys have mass storage mode on? I think that if you don't have it set to on, you won't be able to open the drive and drag stuff in manually.
