I have this problem, am not sure if I mentioned this before.

My BlackBerry Link keeps adding this PC I have no idea where it came from and no matter how many hours I delete it, it comes back.

The PC in question is not where I live and I have never had the opportunity to use it.

I have two PCs connected to my BBLINK and this not one of them.

Has anyone else experienced this happening to them and if so, how did you fix it

Below my internet connections in the area I live:

That's either one of your PCs, from a previous Link install.

No matter how many times you delete it, it will always show as there is no way to de-register it from your BBID.

    Dear diegonei

If only, as the only PCs I have ever installed BBLINK for my phone, is the two I have here.
I have never installed BBLINK on any other PCs but mine, that's why this situ has got baffled.

Thank for trying with this problem.

I have had this phone since March 2013 and this only started this year.
It is a problem I may have addressed in BB Community Support Forum but I have found CrackBerry more exciting for questions, answers and what's generally happening.

    Am still searching for solutions.

    Thanks D :-)

I wish I could tell you all, how shocked I am.

I have just come back home and tried to connect, yet still no joy.
A thought came into my head; saying, try one of my other connections and came across tethering.

Hey Presto, am connecting, but there's more.
You see, while I am writing this to you, this odd phenomena is happening.

    1. First ever connection I have ever had since I upgraded in 2013; no sight of where my internet connection is made when tethering in the box bottom right which tells you that your internet has been connected.
I am writing to you, while I am backing-up my phone, this is the phenomena I am talking about, which is unique to me and if this isn't for you. Please let me know, having full internet connection while backing up, everything normally gets severed, but I was even able to get into my folders while backing up to get Ya pics.

I was able to take a small video while back-up was preparing. it's a pity i cannot attach it here unless I go through YouTube or else

One of my pics is turned sideways because I couldn't get to close the BB Recent Activity box, because of it's length and had to turn to the Graphics Option Rotation for help.

So I have 6 pics for you with a vid which can't be attached.
I hope this helps those who cannot get linked to their BBLINK

I forgot to mention, well I didn't but I wanted you to notice that the pic showing my homepage "Google" and the next page "BBC TV", both do not have any connection showing for internet when tethering!!!

I have never installed Link in another PC, yet I have over 15 listing.

You're free not to trust me, but I am right.

Glad you managed to backup though. Link is such an unreliable tool... :/

    I trust Ya, trust.
It just seems odd like (not trying to worry anybody) a security floor which bb just don't need.

I know I got my upgrade new out of the box, but now I need to know if it was a test machine before my device was put in its box and why wasn't this able to be wiped clean.

    It does seem unreliable.
Though I good phone for me, with the scope of better upgrades to come.

I am looking at this device, in the same as that e.g MS Vista came about and am happy to wait to see what the future will bring, not being due for an upgrade till 2015 :-)

I have two of those connections listed. It happened to me on some earlier versions of BBLink, earlier OS versions.
The name Desktop-xxxx is the default name for BBLink connections.
I think it may happen if you connect your device before you rename it manually or use an auto-loader/factory reset on your device before this new name is saved, it will always keep showing this default connection because I guess the names are saved 'in the cloud'. If you happen to do this a few times unknowingly you can end up with quite a lot of these 'ghost' connections.

As far as I know there is no way to remove them. And yes, this has been an issue since 10.0 and it is annoying there is not a simple fix for it.

    BlackBerry 10 signed.
