Does android have a program similar to blackberry link and can my data from link be transferred?

You can try using Device Switch app from BlackBerry. Content transfer is from phone to phone.

I believer that for switching to bb10. The way BB has basically switch to the android platform I would have expected more options to transfer data from Blackberry Link since it only works with bb10. Any additional advice or ideas are most welcomed.

I'm not aware of any android app that will import your BlackBerry Link data.

BlackBerry Content Transfer will allow you to transfer most of the data from your BB10 to Priv though. It's on BBW and Google Play.
