Solution found; see below.


I am using the latest version of Blackberry Link (.17).

The import by USB connection from my Outlook Contacts brings over the phone numbers and email addresses but only imports the first two lines of my Notes.

This is killing me as I depend on the notes for a tremendous amount of information.

Any thoughts on what I might do.

Please do not reply with anything other than for a USB direct sync. I am not interested in outlook.com, or any other sync other than direct USB to my Windows PC.

Same problem. (Just got my Verizon Z10). In fact, can't get BB Link to show up on my laptop to do the synch. Frustration is setting in. :-(

I do have a solution.
I tried CompanionLink. Downloaded it to my PC.
Then side-loaded the DejaOffice app from their site onto my Z10.
The instructions were very clear.
Then I did a sync. You need to have CompanionLink and BB Link open on your PC.
The synch transferred everything perfectly to the DejaOffice app on my phone.
Not only do I have all my contacts and notes (within the Deja app, not in the native BB Contacts app) but as a big bonus, the search function within Deja key-word searches the Notes as well as the Names.
This is something that Blackberrys have always been missing.
