Because it is a resource hog. Every version of Windows "Interface software" that I have ever loaded from BlackBerry has been a resource hog. That is why I only allow it to run when I need to use it. The whole running all the time in the background is a waste... unless you need it to allow for remote file access.


Of course it doesn't compare to what iTunes will do to your PC.
