    Ive tried and tried.....ive downloaded it and everything works fine. But when i go into the app, its says blackberry desktop manager can not open, window will try to find a solution? Any ideas?

    deleted reinstalled and it now says when i launch, blackberry desktop manager has stopped working windows is trying to find a solution....

    Works perfectly fine on my computer. Maybe other underlying issues you need to address.

    i have installed DM6 in 3 different PCs, 2 with Windpows 7 Pro and 1 with Windows 7 Enterprise... no problemas at all.

    Try downloading the file again, it may be corrupted.

    did, 3 times, all with the same problems

    it must be my comp, but i dont understand 5.0 works perfectly fine
    but oh well i went back to the old one and will wait for an official release

    Try installing it as administrator. May work for you then.
