Laptop having wi-fi issues after installing Desktop Manager
I'm sorry if this has been discussed already. This site is huge and it's late.
I recently installed the Desktop Manager on my laptop, and shortly after I began having issues with my wi-fi connection. I also have a desktop computer, but it connects to the internet just fine.
I have had the same laptop and wireless router for 10 months and have never had this issue. Since installing the Manager, I've had to reset my router up to 15 times a day.
Ironically, I'm having no troubles at all connecting to my home wi-fi through my blackberry. It's like it's become the alpha dog of my little electronic family.
I have called the tech support for my wireless account, and they suggested I move my cordless phone base to another room. Even though I mentioned the same phone has been beside the router for 10 months. I did what they asked, but it did not resolve the problem.
Has anyone heard of a program/file associated with the Desktop Manager affecting wi-fi connections?
Any help will be very appreciated.
Thanks!
