    The disc that game with my Tour doesn't seem to work properly. Every time I try to install the desktop software there is always a problem.

    And also it never installs my phone correctly, my guess is that I need to install drivers or some sort but I'm not sure which.

    Help would be greatly appreciated.

    The disk i received with my Tour was defective as well. i think a lot were.

    Just go to Smartphones, Cell Phones & Smart Phones at BlackBerry.com on your PC and download the Desktop Manager from there.

    I would recommend not installing 5.0 just yet as it has a couple bugs. Definitely go with 4.7 for now.

    I am running 5.0, no problem. There is also an alternative site you can go to for the DM and check for OS updates for your device BB UPDATES VZW
