No matter what I do I can not get Blackberry to work on any of my computers, laptop and tablet. I have sought advice from this forum but no advice has worked so far. So . . . I am thinking I have a defective version of Blend. Does anyone know if it can be uninstalled and reinstalled without risk? Thanks to all.

Uninstalled from what? You essentially mentioned 4 different things.

I'd start by uninstalling from the pc's first but the very first thing you need to look into is if you have IPV6 turned on because if it's not on it won't work.

Sorry for the confusion. I want to uninstall it from my phone (Passport) and reinstall.

Bla!ze, I am wondering if I can uninstall and then reinstall Blend on my Passport. It does not work with any of my computers, which are all running Windows 8.1 and have IPV6 on. I have the "Allow Connections" on. Blackberry Link works fine on all of the same computers. I have tried installing and uninstalling Blend and Link from all of the computers; this doesn't work either. Thoughts?

How far do you get? Does Blend (on your computer) start up? Does it give you an error when trying to connect? If so, what's the error?

It's technically part of the OS now so it's considered a core system file and as such it can't be removed. The only way it MIGHT be able to be removed is through the Chrome sideloading tool. - http://gridbook.org/pb-app-mgr/ but I've never tried it. Sorry, that's the best I got.

So, it turned out that I did not have a defective version of Blackberry Blend; I had a defective version of expertise and brains. I admit that I am not very tech-savvy and what I am about to describe will prove that. The reason I couldn't get Blend to sync with my computers is because, on the quick settings menu, I was touching the word "Blend" instead of touching the icon. Because when I touched the word, it triggered a response (albeit not the one I wanted), I assumed I was doing the right thing. Nope. YOU HAVE TO TOUCH THE ICON. Geesh! Sorry to waste everyone's time. Thanks for your help. Now, could someone direct me to the manual (Is there &!!@/?! manual?) With all this said, I really like my Passport.
