    Hello,

I would like to start by saying I have first exhausted all other means of fixing this that I know of...

The problem: I install desktop manager just fine, connect my Pearl 8100 and it does not detect it. I turn mass media storage on on my pearl, with no good. I turn my firewall off, a-v software off, still to no avail. I have installed / reinstalled many times without luck. I have no problem installing or loading Desktop Manager.

    My specs:
    HP Laptop dual-core 2ghz
Windows Vista (with all the newest updates)

That should be all you need to know.

So, what I am trying to do is transfer my address book / options from my Pearl 8100 to my Curve 8320. Is there any way to do this?
    Any help would be appreciated.

    Michael

It may be simple, but have you jiggled the cord around? I have to do that sometimes.

Also try using different USB ports, sometimes the ports in the back, work better than the ports in the front.

    Thanks again!
