Help: Desktop Manager with Media download - Uninstall needed?

Sorry Crack-fans... have a question and couldn't find it anywhere here.

I installed Desktop Manager 4.6. I was forced to install the version without Media, because it would fail 100% of the time when I tried to install DM with media.

Now, I'd like to install DM 4.6 with media so I can transfer pictures from my phone to DM.

I have two questions:

1. Do I have to first uninstall the DM 4.6 version I have... OR can I install right over the top of it with no problems?
   
2. Will the back-up that I last did (just today) restore if it was backed up on the version without Media, to the new version of DM with Media?

You will have to uninstall the DM w/o Media first. Don't worry about the backup, you can always make a new backup once the new DM is installed.

Yes the back up you did today will restore the phone providing you know where it was saved on the pc.

Why bother with media though? Mass media storage is your friend..
