I'm having this strange situation with blend and group MMS texting.

In a group text message, every message is received from the same person. Usually the person that is listed first in the group text. On the phone it shows up properly and will include everybody else accordingly.

Blend app 1.1.0.65
PC client 1.1.0.17
Mac client ... i forget version i'll check after a reboot (dualboot system)

Anybody else experiencing the same thing?

Yes, I'm seeing the exact same behavior... it's impossible to tell on Blend which person in the group text/SMS sent the messages.

Worse, I already accidentally sent an SMS to a group instead of one person because of this bug... I saw my friend's name in the left hand pane, clicked it (thinking it was our ongoing one-on-one conversation), saw only HER name as the sender of texts in the"reading" pane, and fired off a text. Thankfully wasn't too embarrassing.

Yes, at the very top of the reading pane it showed multiple recipients, but, it was way too easy of a mistake to make (I don't have profile pics for these people, so their info was all text).

BlackBerry needs to fix the bug so we can tell who is sending what, and I'd also advocate clearly labeling group conversations differently.

The fact that there arent many posts in this thread makes me wonder if it's not as widespread as I thought it is.

If it matters, I'm on AT&T, maybe it has to do with our network and how it reports/sends MMS messages?

Same here. I've had this problem since blend went live. Texts were also a problem with bridge.

It's probably that not so many people do group texting. For me, Blend only sends broadcasted messages, it can't send a group text even if I reply to a group text. Odd behavior.

I get the same issues here. Blend on PC version 1.1.0.67 Client 1.1.0.23 Z30 10.3.1.2582

That's what's happening now. It's broadcasted instead of group mms. They fixed the naming issue though. Now all the messages are corresponding to the correct sender but like you say replies are broadcasted.

Here's another texting problem - I used Blend to send an SMS message (to a single recipient), but the Bluetooth connection dropped. When it returned, Blend sent the same identical message 20 times in one fell swoop.

I've just started seeing this exact same issue. I just posted about it in the z10 forum. Has a fix been identified for this?
