On Firday, My STL100-1 runs out of battery and I forgot to charge it. But yesterday, after a day's charge it still failed to boot up and no led light flashes...

Then I tried to connnect it with BB Link, but it also failed. Actually, my compter cannot recognize it. On Friday, I've used the BB Blend, so it should not be the driver problem.

STL100-1 variant the volume button reset method doesn't work. In that case, Press and HOLD the Power On Button until you see the BlackBerry LOGO

It stays at this step...no matter I holding power+V+ or not, still shows USB device cannot be recognized...

I had a Q10 that seemed like it was completely dead - no display, no power light, nothing. I took out the battery and left it alone for 24 hours so that any charge left in the Q10 would discharge. Afterward, I put the battery back in and it booted fine. It's worth a try and less evasive than trying to install the OS again. It'll only takes some patience.

Did you try to discharge it for 24 hours without the battery?

Z10 STL-100 is a mess, the trick is once it fully discharges, you plug the cable onto the computer it will boot up after a minute or so of charging, then instead of charging, it will be discharging even when the cable is connected, hence it goes into that cycle, again and again,

The only way to correct this mess is quickly disconnecting the cable and connect it again, then it will charge, after 13% switch from computer to normal electrical current
