Error adding folder... never had this before. And then it says:
"this folder already exists in your library as a child folder".
What is the problem here?

Maybe try reinstalling Link?
I have the same error and I tried re-installing Link and that did not solve the problem. The challenge is that I can't determine what folder it is referring to.
...just had that same issue ....I went in Link clicked on my phone then where you see "Reset Sync relationships " try that. Everything back to normal after..If you havnt done it and it is fixed/not fixed of course..
Step mother is having this issue as well. The Reset Relationships isn't solving her issue...

I have this problem too.
I have uninstalled and re-downloaded and re-installed BB link, all to no avail.
Help?
Mine actually returned shortly after the post so my fix isnt one currently. After taking some time i think mine was caused when i installed link on my XP home computer which had the non updated version of windows media player from the year of the OS install and no itunes on the computer as it kept showing no music folder to sync to . It works fine on my windows 7 laptop. Just now tryed usb connection again after BB10's current update and still doing it on the xp comp. There doesnt appear to be an actual folder problem i can find even after extensive troubleshooting. Its quite annoying i will take another shot at its cause ..
Try to remove paired pc in device - settings blackberry link. Then delete folders in link on pc. Then sign out on pc link. Sign back in. Add folders. Try might work did for me seeing no pc files.
