I don't know if this is a DM 5.0 issue or if it's a DM issue in general.

I have a couple aps that I want to install via DM instead of OTA. However, I can't install via App Loader since it insists on first checking for OS upgrade. My bold is running 4.6.0.282 so it always insists on downgrading my OS and I'm not going to let it do that just to install new aps.

    Any thoughts?

Do you have 4.6.0.282 installed on your PC? If you don't, and you have an older version installed, the App Loader will attempt to revert to the older version. If that's not applicable, try disconnecting your PC from the internet while loading the apps. That step was necessary in DM 4.7 to prevent trying to upgrade your OS.

I just ignore it on mine, then manually run Loader.exe

    Using DM 4.5

    Thx for the help..

Jeff, your comment reminded me that I had to restore my laptop to original condition a couple weeks back. I reinstalled 4.6.0.282 OS on laptop but never ran CrackMem, deleted Vendor file, etc. I had gotten distracted when setting up again and as long as DM sync'd well to Outlook, it wasn't an issue.

Thx again to both of you.
