- This is my scenario:
1. Running on Win7 (32bit)
2. Have been using DM 5, 6.0, 6.01, etc. without any problems. Am now on 6.0.2.44
3. Win7 device manager detects my BB (all of my BBs are detected) when connected to my Dell D420
4. My connection problem started while 6.01 was currently loaded
5. All of BBs get the same "DM comms manager has stopped working" problem
6. Running dual boot on this laptop and I dont have any problem running DM on the win98 partition
7. I have tried uninstalling, downgrading to v5, re-installing v6.01, v6.02 but the connection problem still persists.
8. This is the error message that is always displayed once I a BB is connected to the pc

BTW, I've also uninstalled all programs that require usb/serial connection for my other fones such as HTC and Sony Ericsson and Nokia. Likewise, their USB drivers were uninstalled. Still no luck06-03-11 09:33 PMLike 0 - Finally resolved the problem above by:
1. Uninstalling DM v6.0.2.44
2. Deleting these files from c:\windows\system32\drivers
-- RimUsb.sys
-- RimSerial.sys

4. Re-install DM v5.01
5. Run program
6. Connect BB8830, detected! Synched w/ Outlook (contacts and memos), successful!
