windows 7 RTM build 7600 32 bit, using BB DM 5.0, and an unlocked storm 9530 runnign 5.0.0.230

all of the sudden, my BBDM takes FOREVER to "check for application updates" on my BB. and by forever i mean i have never seen it finish.

ideas?

Do you have any bb OS's installed on your PC? If so, delete them and see whether this makes any difference...
