DM 7 calendar range not configurable?

Hello.
I've using DM 6 for some time and I was using an advanced feature to sync the calendar appointments: this is useful, because you don't have to worry about having too many data in the memory: DM will take care when data are out of the range (before current date and also in the future) that the user has defined.
I upgraded to DM7 and when configuring I realized that in DM7 there is no such option, you only have the possibility to define sync filters, but only with fixed dates, not X time before and Y time in the future.
So I had to uninstall DM7 and continue using DM6, even that DM7 has some new features I like.
Has anybody found this same problem and how did you solve it? ...if you really did ;-)
