    After the upgrade from 4.7 to 5.0, I cannot synchronize my Storm because DM reports that the computer is not connected to the internet, which is not true. I thought since I am behind a proxy server, perhaps that was where the problem lies, but I cannot find any setting in DM for proxy. If it is a proxy problem, does anyone know what ports DM uses? Any ideas? Anyone?

    I realized the other change was that I upgraded to IE 8.0, which wiped out the proxy settings for IE; once I re-entered them, DM worked.

    I had to replace a hard drive and with that came IE8. You said you redid your proxy settings. How did you do this? I have been unable to sync since new hard drive, despite turning off all firewalls. Any help is appreicated.

    Well, after looking into it, it sounds like I wouldn't have a proxy server because I am using comcast from home. if you have any other ideas...
