I have tried desktop manager 4.2 and just upgraded to 4.3 with the same result. My password works just fine on the device but not from the desktop manager. When I first turned on the 8310 and connected it to the computer, they spoke to each other just fine and did a backup. Then security kicked in. They both count password entries so I know the communication path between the application on the PC and the device is solid. Anybody have any ideas on what to do?
You probably used or did not use the alt key when you typed the password on your Blackberry. Try to work out what it could be based on the password you selected, like alt 456 would equal sdf on a full keyboard
