just connected my 9700 to desktop manager via usb. clicked 'application loader' and searched for updates and got a whole list of software that apparently needs updating including

'blackberry 5.0.0 system software'

yet when using 'wireless update' on the device i get current version of 5.0.0.321 and a 'no updates available' pop up box



any ideas what is going on please?

you have an OS update. if you are running 5.0.0.321, apparently thats an older OS for Vodafone UK. wireless update doesnt always work right.

looks like the most recent OS release for your phone/carrier is 5.0.0.344

thanks for the reply. my phone is sim free. i'm just using a vodafone sim in the phone.
