    I tried searching for this but didn't come up with anything. So I had a Tour and upgraded to the Bold 9650, did a backup in desktop manager and restored to the Bold since my "switch to a new blackberry device" option failed. I then tried to update the Bold to a new version (732 I think) and when I go to the options screen for selecting the items that get installed, I get a error message at the bottom that says there isn't enough memory to continue (even after unchecking everything possible). Anyone have this problem? I will post exact details when I get a chance to try again.

    With the phone ON, you might try removing the battery for 30-40 seconds and replace. After reboot, try again.

    For others who might drop in, what version of Desktop Manager are you running?

    I had the same problem trying to update mine after doing the device switch. I then pulled the battery and also updated desktop manager and tried again and it worked. Not sure which one did it, but wouldn't hurt to do both. Good luck!
