I know there's lots of threads for problem but i couldn't find a solution to my specific issue that has worked for me.
I got a BB curve 8900 last week and when i plug the data cable in, it always says disconnected. The phone charges via data cable, but the DM doesn't recognize the phone at all: it says "none" in the bottom left corner where the device should be listed.
In the control panel settings there is no listing for "Blackberry Smartphone." I've tried this on multiple computers, so i assume its the BB and not my computer. I've tried multiple uninstall/reinstalls of DM, soft resets, hard resets. Now im out of trouble shooting tactics, do i just need a new BB?
