I've downloaded and installed desktop manager 6.1.0.35 as the previous vers had stopped recognising my Torch, even with this latest version it's not recognising the phone. I've rebooted pc, phone, plugged and unplugged the cable. Still can't backup, still shows disconnected.

Any ideas anyone? Thanks.

Try using a different USB port on your computer. Also, try a different computer to determine if it is the device, or computer.

Failing that, try a different USB cable...

Does your Torch charge when connected?

I have used different USB ports and a different cable, I don't have another computer so that option is out.

The Torch does charge and I can view the files on the Torch.
