I can't answer your question but I am having the same experience. If I select Update it says it is going to download a 25Mb file but the progress bar never moves. I have no idea what is going on.
And, every time I sync it wants to do a 5.0 Core upgrade, which I do. Every time! Like it doesn't take or doesn't know it took. No error message.
I'm using DM v5.0.1 BTW. Me thinks it needs some work.

I had to uninstall older DM and tried to d/l from download section on BB website. I found a fix in the tech section that discussed editing the registration keys. I skipped that and d/l from this link. Got the real new version, edited the file as instructed and it works well
