Help, have reinstalled several times, it syncs my contacts from Outlook, but crashes 90% of the time when it syncs the Outlook calendar. Anybody else experiencing this. I'm running Vista 64 bit and desktop manager 5.0. Never had this issue with the curve.
I experienced this same issue. I downloaded the most recent version from the Blackberry Website and reinstalled. Selected sync contacts and Calendar, not tasks..Seemed to fix the issue. I am using Windows XP and Blackberry Tour. Although I still get some missing dll files issues when I install Desktop Manager but it hasn't seemed to effect anything yet.
I haven't had that issue and put DM5.0 and the Tour OS on three different machines. (2 with XP Pro and 1 with Vista). However, when I uninstalled 4.7, I used ccleaner behind the uninstallation to remove all registry entries left by 4.7. This is where you may be having an issue.
