    Desktop Manager does not detect my phone. It just remains "Disconnected." Any ideas? I've reinstalled device drivers, rebooted the phone, etc.

    How about rebooting the pc? Or uninstalling the desktop software while your phone is still connected to the PC and then reinstalling the software?

    Tried both of those things. No results. Is it possible that each BB can only be connected to one DM? I used it on my old laptop, which I no longer have.

    If you're using 5.0, downgrade to 4.7. In lieu to that, try rebooting your PC.

    Also try a different usb port, front or back. And try another cable just to be sure.

    I've hooked my BB to my laptop, desktop and work computers.

    Make sure the usb port is working and does not go to sleep/low power.
