I just installed DM version 5.0.1 on a new computer running Windows 7 Profiessional. Outlook 2007 (and the entire Microsoft suite) was already installed before installing DM.
When I went to set the synchronization settings, Outlook was not there in the list of selections.
Why is DM not recognizing Outlook as a source to synchronize to? (I have installed DM on other computers and never had this problem before.) And how do I fix this?
(I've searched for the answer but most posts are very old and do not address this exact problem.)
If the computer is new, or at least has a fresh install of Outlook, you'll need to set up Outlook the first time. Just open it up and it will prompt you to set it up, if it hasn't already been done. Then DM should recognize it.
