    I am having a very frustrating issue with desktop manager and my 9700. First off I have restarted and I am having this issue on both my laptop and my desktop. Anyway, here is what is happening.....when I first plugged the 9700 in it went through the process of installing drivers. When I open Blackberry Device Manager it shows my 9700 as connected and even displays the correct PIN. However, when I open DM it will not connect. I have gone to options and chosen USB and still nothing. The phone connects but not through desktop manager. This is very, very frustration. Any ideas?

    5.0.1 is the version of DM that I have installed at the moment. Not sure if that is the newest but that should not matter.

    Try deleting the app from your computer. Restart and download the most recent version.

    Hello everyone,

    Just got my new 9700 and am experiencing the same problem. This is very frustrating. Already wasted 3 hours configuring it but it won't work. You have any ideas on this?
