I have backed up my BB once just fine. But now, when I pull up desktop manager and connect my BB to computer, the backup option is grayed out - somehow it doesn't know my BB is connected.

This is new BB for me (Curve 8330) & I have tried a lot of different things. Did I mess something up? What could be wrong?

is the DM properly recognizing the phone? does it show as being connected and the PIN is showing in the lower left hand corner of DM?
